Welcome to the College and Young Adult Ministry of Parkway

Parkway Baptist Church’s College and Young Adult Ministries focus on making disciples and equipping college students and young adults for the work of ministry. We are an effective arm of Parkway Baptist Church and don’t desire to create a church within a church. Instead, we are disciples of Jesus Christ who make other disciples for the glory of God and the building up of His church.

Parkway’s College and Young Adult Ministries exist to make mature disciples in Christ and to prepare young men and women to be life-long feeders and servers. We want our young men and women to be able to understand God’s Word in a way that allows them to grow in their relationship with the Lord as He equips them for service in His kingdom.

Parkway Baptist Church wants these young men and women not to be consumers—as our society promotes—but to serve as Jesus did. By the time these disciples exit these crucial years at Parkway, they will have learned how to love and serve their local church. They will be discipled and disciple others. They will also learn ways to show hospitality to others and focus on loving and evangelizing the lost across the street and around the world.

To see this vision accomplished, we gather weekly each Lord’s day for Sunday school at 9:00 a.m., followed by worship at 10:15 a.m.

After worship, we will often spend time in the home of a pastor or leader for a time of feasting and fellowship.

College Students also gather for Bible Study on Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m.

Here we learn to understand God’s Word better and grow in our relationship with Him and each other. In addition, discipleship and shepherding are crucial to working with these young men and women. So, leaders regularly meet with college students and young adults for discipling and counseling. Opportunities to serve our church and the community abound, so come and get plugged in at Parkway!
