Music and Worship at parkway
Music is an important part of so many people’s lives. God made us as musical beings so that we might make music to glorify and enjoy Him. We should “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Col. 3:16). As Christ’s Word sinks deep into our hearts, we sing our thanks and praise to God. We also sing as a way of building each other up, teaching and admonishing each other through the words we use in our music. Our music ministry offers an opportunity to those with musical gifts to serve our church and the Lord in facilitating the congregation’s worship. If you have a special talent for playing an instrument or singing, our church will be better for your service.
We have several teams that lend their skills to our music ministry. Below is a brief description of each one. If you are interested in serving on one of these teams let us know!
