Parkway Baptist Church is a church on mission, and our MISSION is clear. We must understand the urgency of the moment, and the need to impact a lost, morally decaying, and dying world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. God’s blessing upon Parkway should be evident to everyone. Because we are free from the burden of debt, we are increasingly active in ministry related efforts. Our mission is not just to build new buildings or plan programs. The main focus of Parkway is to lead people to a salvation experience with Jesus Christ.
Most ministry efforts at Parkway are accomplished through teams of servants who are endeavoring to follow Jesus Christ the Great Servant. There are serving opportunities available for people of all ages, talents and personalities. Some choose to welcome people with the hospitality team and others lead a small group. Some dive into the music ministry and others the grounds team. Some feed the poor and others feed children the Word of God – But all are encouraged to serve…so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 4:11

Parkway activity supports several mission activities in Africa. Below is a report our first quarter impact in Africa for 2016.
In addition to our regular budget giving, our designated giving to missions and special mission projects continues to be amazing. During the first 4 months of this year we have provided the funds for a fresh water well for Paul Njuguna in rural Kenya, have provided thousands of dollars for Bibles and Bible commentaries for Robert Kamau to utilize in his pastoral training in several different African countries, provided Winny and Sammy Ndumu financial support for the Kisima children’s feeding ministry along with funds to help on several mission trips, provided funds to help the Chanda’s with the Lighthouse School, provided financial support for Sabita and her family in India, and provided each mission family an Easter love gift of $2,500.
