Music and Worship

Worship is very important at Parkway Baptist Church and music plays a major role in leading, assisting, and guiding in the worship experience. It is our goal and purpose for all music sung or played to be scripturally-based and true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit that inhabits our praise and aids us in effectively communicating the message of salvation, hope, and love found only in Christ.

We offer a fully graded music program that includes choirs for all ages starting at the age of 3 years and continuing to the oldest senior adult. A sense of fun and family are key components of the choral experience along with learning the fundamentals of music, gaining an understanding of why we sing, and appreciating the part we play in being a worship leader.

Choir tours are also an integral part of the senior adult, adult, and youth choirs. While on tour, relationships are built and strengthened, lives are touched, much food is consumed, and memories are cherished for years to come.
